The CASG will have its monthly meeting on Friday, August 21st. We’ll start gathering at 7:00 PM, with Show & Tell at 7:15 PM and the formal business meeting starting at 7:45 PM.

The CASG will be meeting up at the Illinois Railway Museum on Sunday, August 2nd for the IRM’s 35th Annual Vintage Transportation Extravaganza. Come join us, support the museum, see some cool cars, and ride a train or two!

The CASG will have its monthly meeting on Saturday, July 18th. This month we’re meeting at Chuck Hempfling’s home in Hawtorne Woods. Chuck hosts us every year and we are very much looking forward to the hot dogs!

The CASG will be visiting the East Troy Railroad Museum in East Troy, Wisconsin for their “Chicago Day” event on Saturday, July 11th. You can get more information about Chicago Day at the East Troy Railroad Museum website. See you there!
The CASG will be visiting Rochelle Railroad Park on June 27th. Come join us for a day watching the BNSF and Union Pacific trains at the crossing in Rochelle, Illinois. If you need more information, use the Contact form.

The CASG will be visiting two museums on Saturday, June 13th. We’ll be meeting at the Monon Connection Museum in Monon, Indiana around 11 AM. After we explore & eat lunch, we’ll then head to the Hoosier Valley Railroad Museum in North Judson, Indiana.

The CASG will be taking a day trip down the South Shore Line to Michigan City, Indiana. Come join us on May 22nd.
We’ll be meeting up at Millennium Station and taking the 10:30 AM South Shore Line train, arriving at Michigan City at 11:56 AM. We’ll have lunch and look around Michigan City for a bit, then head back on the 2:22 PM train. It is scheduled to arrive at Millennium Station at 3:43 PM.
The CASG will have its monthly meeting on Saturday, April 18th. This month we’re meeting at Gary Wronkiewicz’s home in Palatine, where we will get to see Gary’s amazing S and HO train layouts!
