June Meeting
The CASG will have its monthly meeting on Friday, June 19th. We’ll start gathering at 7:00 PM, with Show & Tell at 7:15 PM and the formal business meeting starting at 7:45 PM.

Museum Trip
The CASG will be visiting two museums on Saturday, June 13th. We’ll be meeting at the Monon Connection Museum in Monon, Indiana around 11 AM. After we explore & eat lunch, we’ll then head to the Hoosier Valley Railroad Museum in North Judson, Indiana.

South Shore Line
The CASG will be taking a day trip down the South Shore Line to Michigan City, Indiana. Come join us on May 22nd.
We’ll be meeting up at Millennium Station and taking the 10:30 AM South Shore Line train, arriving at Michigan City at 11:56 AM. We’ll have lunch and look around Michigan City for a bit, then head back on the 2:22 PM train. It is scheduled to arrive at Millennium Station at 3:43 PM.

April Meeting
The CASG will have its monthly meeting on Saturday, April 18th. This month we’re meeting at Gary Wronkiewicz’s home in Palatine, where we will get to see Gary’s amazing S and HO train layouts!

The All American Railroad Show
Come see the CASG’s modular layout at the All American Railroad Show in La Grange, Illinois – and check out plenty of other layouts, too! The show runs from 9 AM to 5 PM on Saturday, March 28th, 2025. You can find out more information about the show on their website.

Rock River Valley Train Show
The CASG will be bringing our layout to the NMRA’s Rock River Valley Division train show in Machesney Park, Illinois – right outside of Rockford. You can find us there on March 21st & 22nd. All the details about the show are available here: https://rrvd-nmra.com/show/

Mad City Show
The CASG will have our modular layout at the Mad City Model Railroad Show on February 21st & 22nd. Please check their website for all of the details about the show! We will be running S scale, hi-rail, and classic American Flyer tinplate all weekend!

February Operating Session
The next operating session for the club’s modular layout will be Sunday, February 15th from 12:30 PM to 5:00 PM.
Not only may you bring your own trains, but the club’s collection of locomotives and rolling stock will be available to run.
Toward the end of the day, we will be breaking down the modular layout for transportation to the Mad City Model Railroad Show.
